The Government Relations Committee advises and directs TCM's advocacy efforts with legislators and policymakers on issues of importance to the technology and biotechnology industries. TCM is the only technology council in Maryland with a full-time presence in Annapolis. We work year-round representing the interests of technology and biotechnology on behalf of our membership.

TCM has an experienced government relations team to represent its members' interest and seeks to influence policymakers on issues such as tech, biotech, economic development, capital formation, higher education, transportation, workforce, tax climate and more.
TCM also represents your interests in Congress through the leadership and guidance of our federal partners, the Technology Association of America and the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO). TCM also partners with local associations, chambers and other tech councils to influence issues important to TCM members on the local level.
